3 to 5 Park View is in the village of Hersham in Surrey. The site was previously occupied by a 10,000ft² commercial building that was outmoded and un-lettable. The site is on the boundary of the main village conservation area and adjacent to a Grade II listed building.

Following SCd’s successful outline application for change of use to residential with the addition of a new penthouse level, a new application was developed for a new build scheme of 14, 2 bed, residential flats. Using the constraints established with the outline scheme SCd designed a scheme that is both contemporary and yet
sympathetic to it context.
